The stated reason was rain damage, not temperatures which have been warm but not excessive.

Last five days in Gosford have been 23 23 23 23 25 degrees max.
On Sunday 17 rain was about 60mm

But Brucey boy they were one January day six years ago when Gary "Poohbah" Smith kicked off this thread and that would of been prior to the last couple of years when the Industry was turned on its head .

It would be hard to disagree on that point Pastor Bool. Only one way to find out if the Poohbah himself could come and tell us what the temp. actually reached that day way back in January 2013 but he has his hands full at the moment driving to Bunnings in Wagga to buy a latch and padlock for a 3kg small wooden medicine cupboard by order of the stewards whilst dropping off an 8 year old pet at the vets for some dental work (flossing and possible expensive extraction) also ordered by the same stewards. Said Dog to be presented to stewards at Wentworth Park for clearance before he next goes walkies. - Macwollie
