It was pretty obvious last night that dogs would have benefited from a trial on the track

Surprisingly all the trials last night (a lot of first lookers ) trialled really well
All going 22.40 -.70

Was a little disappointed the 380 box werent further around for a straighter outcome out of the boxes

The only other downfall is the surface out of the boxes doesnt get compressed at all thus giving u a very soft surface leading onto the track proper !
It needs to be rolled manually! Eg like a cricket pitch

Wash bays (behind catching pen ) need to be upgraded onto a hard surface with drainage instead of standing on freshly laid turf that turns into a slush pit
Not good for trying to examine your greys feet nails webbing etc this procedure could be done and completed over 2 days eg , this sat and sun ! ITS IMPORTANT

Besides that , it is nice and the club will move forward once again I believe
Very helpful staff and courteous, special mention to Ryan Freedman
Keep up the good work ...... going the extra mile doesnt go unnoticed!
Its what makes all the difference from a standard experience to a great one

Thx Gosford , keep up the good work

Thx Nathan!

We will make a solid surface and add lights along path/wash bay near Catching pen. As soon as Gold Cup is finished that will be priority.

Regarding surface outside of boxes are younrefering to in front of the mats?

They are brushed and rolled but once again appreciate the feedback

Hi Ryan

Yes referring to the surface that is softer then normal
(It didnt seem to affect some this past week nearly breaking 22 over the 380)

But yes , the question was raised in general conversation between a few Poeple including grounds keepers , is what would be the best way to compress the surface from leaving the mat to the course proper ?

Only conclusion we could come up with was the manual rollers that are used for cricket pitches as being new it hasnt quite settled in comparison to an older track .

Like I said but , breaking 22 ? Cant be too much wrong with it !

Wash bays behind catching pen would be great but to help assist with welfare and checking of just run dogs being hosed down .

Again , keep up the good work mate

Nice track ! Top club , great atmosphere for a night out

Cheers
