What a magnificent final it will be, good luck to all, but mainly to the smaller kennels...
Nothing better than a success story of an underdog beating the bigger boys.
The tragedy of the series is Miss Splendamiro...absolute champion bitch who lady luck abandoned.
May the underdog prevail!
I want to see tears of joy and story that will invigorate the masses to realize a dream is possible...for anyone!

Yes, well, the popcorn would have really had them rushing through the gates!

How hard is it?

1. Bloody apple dunking for the kids...$1,000 prize for the winner.

2. The bloody Woggles dressed in Greyhound suits where kids can ride the bloody Woggles in races for a winners purse of $500 worth of chocolate bloody Santas.

3. How about free entry for the whole family and a one metre head start in the choco bloody Santa race for any kid who kicks the shins of an anti?

5. FREE bloody fairy floss for the kiddies ALL NIGHT! (plus free bloody sugar checks the next day)

6. Here's one and in line with the adoption theme...
Anyone who attends with the intention to adopt a Greyhound gets a ticket to adopt one for BLOODY FREE!

7. Attend to be in the draw on finals night for a years supply of MEAT to feed your whole bloody family! (max $5,000)

8. Go in the draw to have your face plastered all over the Opera House for one day!(maybe even with Landy)

Geez, it's hard to be humble.

Very refreshing for the industry and flying the flag for all the little fellas and new south welsh Poeples !

Go get em champ !

Thanks Nath, It's great when the hard work pays off.

In regards to the night, I was told betting turnover was huge and the crowd was much better than usual. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids, and I'm sure Ellen and staff have a big night planned for next Saturday. I believe they are expecting a big crowd which is great.
Whether you believe the million dollar chase was a good concept or not, Saturday night is a huge milestone for the industry and any person that can should be getting down to Wenty to show their support.

There was plenty noise on the stand when yours qualified Adam. I'm over here visiting family and taking in the races. Best of luck.

Congratulations Adam in getting two runners into the final. You must be over the moon.

Good luck and bring it home for NSW.

Adam,

Good to see the Friday experiment went well - why the change from Sat though? Coinciding with the Adl big race is hardly a justification.

Betting was erratic but overall possibly a little better than a normal Saturday.

The final will tell the big story but meantime my advice to programmers would be to avoid a part of the year that involved the Everest and some big Spring horse races. Our One Million paled by comparison to the multi millions on offer at Randwick and Caulfield.
I would guess that those races and the Opera House deal served to halve the benefits to greyhound racing.

No doubt the Minister called for a rush job but that is an excuse, not a reason.

Terry Jordan would like to put up a fifty dollar Bunnings voucher for the person or persons who can provide the Missing Number 4 suggestion in Mick Geraghty's 8 reasons to get the crowds back to Wenty on Million dollar night. Mr Geraghty is illegible, he had his chance and blew it.

Well, Pirate Pete, this is devastating!
I've just arrived home from racing where I won NOTHING, blew a tyre, and now discover this!
Lower than a snake's belly.
It is obvious to everyone that there has been a security breach at GD and someone has STOLEN my 4th point.
Talk about desperadoes.
Can admin please start an immediate inquiry into this?
I have a fair idea who is responsible...they only had to ask...pathetic!

All future suggestions will now be coded in Finnish...that'll stuff 'em.

The STOLEN point 4 is...
"Hanki Bwucen Targun ksittelemn antis edess, jotta he kyllstyisivt ja menisivt kotiin."

P.S. Forget about TJ paying 50 for anything...he's so tight he refuses to pass wind.

Geez, just looking through the fields for Sat, Wenty...there's some serious cash up for grabs.

To the winners there are -
4 races worth around $5,000.
1 race worth $10,000.
2 races @ $25,0000.
1 race worth $75,000.
1 race worth $100,000.
1 race worth $1,000,000. 2nd $100,000 3rd $45,000.

I'd be happy running 3rd in the big one.

Good luck to all.

I hope that promotion team get their finger out...crying shame if they don't.
They should have the place packed to the rafters.
