We are currently looking for a sire for Ruby Herrera's first litter. She was a very strong bitch that ran only 2 tenths off The Gardens 600m track record on her 2nd attempt there but was unfortunately hampered with niggling injuries after that run.
Our primary thoughts are she is from the teriffic Tifi line and to replicate close relations Feral Franky, Good Odds Harrada, Mister Twister and Tifia by going to Collision. Plenty of options around Barcia Bale and his sons and also Orson Allen.
Very interested in peoples thoughts and their reasoning.
Cheers

Hi Mick, using this litter as an example of doubling up 3x3 would Feral or his brother be too close for your liking?

Steve, Have a look at Blazin Bomber, the breakin reports are good.
Should have a few beginning their careers shortly.
Pups are alert and great chasers with good motors.

Sandro bombastic has been used very infrequently with the Off Springer / Skullring line for some reason. I am extremely keen to use sires with a strong influence of bombastic over some banjo bitches.

Walk hard was a great example. Actually there was another group one dog in that litter. And if you go back to Bitches with clan lass influence you will also find bombastic has been very successful. Spud Regis is an example. The Kiowa / Penske cross is the bonus. I am not sure it has worked as well here as abroad but I really like bombastic intro.

Ruby already has a strong influence of BS so not sure but is a great example of Bombastic again mixing with Skullring line and producing a fast animal and Zambora Brockie is the obvious one.

Personally I like Kinloch over Ruby a lot, Fernando and collision or sons of.

Steve , not everyones cup of tea but I like shakey jakey as not only do you get collision but his dam kiacatoo pearl has crossed well with BL who imo is positioned nicely on your bitches dams sireline. Cheers

Thanks for the input from everyone, much appreciated.
Her sire being Banjo Boy gives us plenty of options.

The Zambora Brockie mating is particularly interesting and at this are considering using him on her at some stage.
As Andrew pointed out BS has worked well with the Skullring line, but also has played a significant roll in Rubys dam line.
We also like the Trendy Leigh/Brett Lee cross which seems to be in most of his top offspring at this early stage.

Thanks again
Cheers Mick.
